Carrie Klassen lives and works in Tkaronto/Toronto. She is thankful for the wildflowers first tended by the people of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat First Nations. She strives to honour the Covenant Chain by studying ecological systems and applying the principles in her work, redistributing a portion of revenue to Indigenous and environmental organizations, growing strawberries, offering warmth through words, and taking no more than she needs.
